Communication Today is a scientific journal from the mass media and marketing communication field. It contains professional scientific reflections on the media, media competencies, discourse on the limits to reality, media thinking, new media, peculiarities of individual marketing types, psychology and sociology of marketing communication, the structure of media content, and marketing strategies and communication sciences. The professional public is offered an interdisciplinary, focused, targeted discussion in these pages.
Communication Today is published twice a year and is a reviewed periodical. It mediates theoretical studies, theoretical and empirical studies, research results and their implementation into practice, as well as professional publication reviews.
The journal is registered in the List of periodicals of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic under No. EV 3972/10, in the ISSN system: 1338-130X.
The members of the journal editorial board are members of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA). The journal Communication Today is indexed in the databases: Cabell’s Directories, CEJSH, EBSCO, ProQuest and Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory and Index Copernicus. It is currently under the indexing process with Scopus and ISI.
